Most of Woodstock's homes were built after 2000; the city's housing study found 42 percent of residential uses dated from 2001 to 2010. The southeast part of Towne Lake, a planned community from the late 1980s, is also inside the city, with creeks that drain to the Little River arm of Lake Allatoona.
